NIST (National Institute of Standard and Technology) in US, is elaborating a big scenary for open communications within Smart Grids. In this scenary the communication with the wind power plants is being analyzed by PAP (Priory Action Plan) 16. USE61400-25 collaborates with this initiative and it has provided some information to clarify the interfaces and topologies where IEC 61400-25 can be applied.
